Alaska Lodging

Need a place to stay in SE Alaska? No, you can't rent an igloo! Good beaches for a tent, rustic Forest Service Cabins, 4-Star Lodges and B&B's...Even Paris's Dad's place... If it's a roof over your head and a place to stay for a night (or a lifetime), this is the place to talk about it! The Alaska Lodging Forum is currently sponsored by the Alaska Wolf Lodge.

Summer is here!

Hello All!

Now that the summer travel season is upon us, I wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know that my usually quick responses and regular posts would be slowing down dramatically. If we're out on a charter, or I've operated more than 2 or 3 trips in a single day, chances are I won't be able to get online to post. Also, if you see a series of posts that aren't exactly my usual "wordy" norm, I've probably been posting from my phone instead of carrying a laptop.

In the meantime, if anyone does have any "urgent" or short-notice questions, someone at Alaskan Marine Adventures can almost always be reached by phone, and if you'll send me a PM or direct eMail, I can usually read and give a short reply within a day or two.
Just because the forum is less active doesn't mean we're going anywhere (except outside to have fun!)

Thanks for your understanding, and Happy Alaska Travels!

Invite A Friend To Our Forum!!!

You can now "Invite Friends" by clicking on the link in the navigation bar near the top (next to "UserCP"....)

It still seems a little awkward - it was written by a very smart, non-english-speaking programmer - but the function is good...

All you do is drop an eMail address into the box, and you can add a note to tell the person who you are and why you would like to see them join. The forum system will create a link that they can click on to join our site... It's just another way to get the word out.

If you know of anyone who would like to participate in our discussions, or who's planning a trip to SE Alaska, please send 'em our way!

Thanks!
